  4. INSTALLATION
  5. ------------
  6. 1- If the application files are all provided from Internet in 
  7.   a file  named  'M3D_en.zip', you need Winzip.
  8.   Open the 'M3d_en.zip' file using winzip, 
  9.   then click on "install.exe".
  10.   Winzip will copy all the files in a temporary folder,
  11.   then "install.exe" will completely install Mountain 3D 
  12.   on a new path that you can change.
  13.   The installation include a start programm group and desktop icon.
  14.   An uninstall program is also provided.  
  15.  
  16. 2- If the application is provided on a CD-ROM, it can be expanded.
  17.    If you want to install it on your hard drive, 
  18.    you only have to run "install.exe" from the CD-ROM.  
  19.  
  20. The application can easily be removed by "Uninstall Mountain 3D"
  21.

  23. This evaluation version owns the following limitations:
  24.  
  25. 1- Advice message at opening and at saving files.
  26.  
  27. 2- number of views limited to 2.
  28.  
  29. 3- image size limited to 630 x 460.
  30.  
  31. 4- Mesh degree of mountains limited to 8 (instead of 10).

  33. 5- This program can be used until the 30th
  34.     day following the date you installed it.

  37. The complete english version is available after paying the registration fee of $30.
  38. The fasted method is ONLINE REGISTRATION via a SECURE SERVER using your credit card.

  64. Then you will receive by e-mail a personal identification number
  65. which you will have to type, associated with your last and first name, 
  66. inside the dialog box that is open while starting the program. 
  67. Registering is done by pressing the "Licence number registering" button.
  68. If the number is correct (be carefull: type exactly the name and number given) ,
  69.  the registering part of the "about" window disapears definitively,
  70.  and the user name appears inside this box after the words "Licenced to ".
